A CRM manages leads. It doesn’t create them.
A CRM is a good place to keep track of people who have already shown interest. It can remind someone to follow up, show who owns the next step, and make it obvious when a lead has gone quiet. What it can’t do is make more people show up.
That distinction changes where the money should go. If few people are inquiring, a clearer offer, a better website or stronger referrals may do more than new software. If plenty are inquiring and many go nowhere, the CRM and the handoffs behind it are the likelier place to look.
We try to work out which situation a business is in before recommending either. It’s a less exciting conversation than selling the tool, but it points the budget at the real problem.
